30 x 30 cm = 12" x 12" oil on canvas available unframed or framed
Another orange, this time ensconced in a vintage butter dish in the shape of a sea shell, whose glass liner has long since bit the dust, but makes an interesting object to paint.

30 x 40 cm / 12" x 16" oil on canvas, unframed
New seasons mandarins complete with leaves, well I couldn't pass up the opportunity to paint this pair of lovelies when my hubby brought them home for our fruit bowl and they were lovely to eat too.

6" x 8" =15 x 20 cm oil on panel
A small one in between the larger ones. I tried out some new paint by Sennelier called Rive Gauche supposed to be faster drying than normal oils, I did mix them with M. Grahams walnut alkyd medium which I think speeded things up too. I find the paint a bit thin and oily so I haven't made my mind up whether I like them or not. Ideal would be a paint that doesn't dry as fast as Winsor and Newtons Griffin but faster than non alkyd paint.

40 x 40 cm =16" x 16" oil on canvas
I started this one before Christmas and left the painting of the label rather dreading it. After several attempts managed it, though not perfect, it is after all a painting!

50 x 50 cm = 20" x 20" oil on canvas
Finally finished! This one took me quite awhile to paint as you can imagine, I'm asking myself why I didn't arrange the satin cloth in a simpler manner, I never realize the complications until I get started.
