1879 Meandering

50 x 50 cm = 20 x 20 ins oil on canvas

I finished this painting on Tuesday and had an op on Wednesday for the removal of a cataract from my right eye. Now looking at the painting on Thursday the colours looked different through my right eye much whiter and brighter. So I adjusted some of the tones and colours on this painting, it will be interesting too, when I get the left eye done how my vision will have changed overall.

1877 Ending

14" x 18" oil on panel

The weather here is finally become Spring like, we have had a couple of rain free, sunny days with some spectacular evening skies, got one or two good shots of the sky after sun down which may turn into paintings. I've got to figure out my camera to get the colours of the night sky and not lose the last light on the land, which comes out too dark usually. If the camera sensor is trained on the land then the sky is washed out. I tend to glaze over when reading the manual for my camera although I am sure all the answers are there!

1875 Who Me?

30 x 40 cm oil on canvas, available

Dogs don't need words, they can tell us so much with their body language and eyes. My dog Mickey when he was waiting for his walk and it wasn't forthcoming fast enough, used to sigh and let his upper body slump and the look of sadness he could give you would melt any heart!

1874 Looking at You

14" x 18"= 60 x 45 cm oil on canvas

I found this canvas that I had textured and painted a mottled blue, when sorting out my canvases and boards a couple of days ago. I decided that it needed using, so here's what I did with it!
