1961 Bluebell Spring

35 x 45 cm / 14" x 18" oil on panel, available when dry and framed!

These lovely bluebells were blooming in part of our local Forest Park which surrounds Lough Derg. They bloom among a beech grove hidden off the beaten track, so you can only find them if you know where to look.

A beautiful scene with "knock-out" colors. (Blue is a passion of mine.) Love the light popping through the trees here and there. It seems to me that Ireland is blessed with many stunning scenes to paint.

One can almost feel the coolness of the forest and smell those flowers. Lovely one Diana.
