1946 Spring Flood

20" x 24" /50 x 60 cm oil on panel €895 available via my web-site

It always seems to rain here in Ireland, especially heavy rains in spring time, flood many low lying fields that are already sodden with the winter down pours. Some flooded fields almost look like lakes and I have even seen swans gliding around on them!

Living 3.5 hours away ( on the Fishguard to Rosslare Ferry) we get much the same weather :)

Lovely painting, Diana.

Hello Diana, what a lovely sight, Spring fields, flooded or not. I just love all the details you put into your paintings like this. I hope things are good with you and yours.

Serene and peaceful, Diana! The bush in front let's one see through yet draws the eye inwards. Lovely!
