1945 Flip Flops

   This young lad has been playing footie on the beach, now taking a rest sitting on his favourite ball, he has become mesmerized by the coming and going of the waves.

Just the sort of painting to remind us of the summer to come. You really do these children playing on the shoreline better than anyone, Diana.

I love to watch children at the beach. They can play in their own little world for hours! I am delighted by the way his hair sticks up at the crown. Typical boy!
