1943 Connemara Cottage

11" x 14" / 28 x 35.5cm oil on board

behind this lone building was a back-drop of mountains, the weather was changing so rapidly as it does here in the West of Ireland, a bank of low clouds shrouded them, I took the ref photo quickly, a few minutes later the scene was gone.

A delightful scene, Diana! I love the variety of textures in the stones, sky and grass. Would I like to stay in this cottage for a month? Yes!!!
