1939 Still Lake

11" x 14" / 28 x 35.5 cm oil on panel, at the framers, available

A small brightly painted rowing boat is tied up on a placid lough Atorick in Co. Clare, Summer sunshine and puffy white clouds above and a myriad of wild flowers and grasses surround this lake that is largely isolated and unspoiled.

A beautiful, peaceful scene, Diana! The water has nary a ripple and the sky is reflected like a mirror. How lovely to have such an unspoiled, serene scene to paint!
