1934 Rusty Roof SOLD!

11" x 14" / 28 x 35.5 cm oil on panel

A local scene of rustic farm buildings in the late afternoon light. An old bedstead propped against a wall as an improvised gate and an old bike tyre leaning against the low wall all things that drew me to this subject matter. The roofs very often clad in corrugated iron, rusting  to give added colour to the scene.

A peaceful scene, Diana. Reminds me of times we have traveled and have chosen the backroads to follow instead of the interstate highways. One can find such interesting things like you have in this painting.
