1887 Vanguard No 4A

40 x 40 cm = 16" x 16" oil on canvas panel, available when framed.

This old stapler caught my attention on Ebay while I was browsing to buy some unusual objects to paint, it is enameled and artistically worn in places making it ideal!

Diana, this is quite the unusual item to paint. But alas...........a good sturdy stapler is a staple for every home. I do see it's charm! Enjoy your day.

This is like seeing an old friend that one hasn't seen in awhile! I used one of these in my classroom years ago when I was teaching. It's wonderful that you found one with "character" wearing. They were real workhorses! Nicely done!
