1788 'Still Beautiful' oil on canvas

40 x 30cm oil on canvas,framed

I  bought a box of broken old stained glass windows in auction awhile back, with the idea of using them in my still lifes  This one makes a beautiful back-drop to this crispy, bright red apple, personally I think it outshines the apple.

Beautiful stained glass Diana! I have a friend whose husband makes stained glass door and windows and it's just magnificent.
I wonder if a glass apple would be interesting to have in your painting? I can picture it!

Diana, what a very clever idea to include the lovely piece of stained glass in your scene! It's amazingly realistic and captivating. I just love this painting!
