1732 Evening Skies

40 x 50 x 4 cm, oil on box canvas, sides painted, framing optional.

A view across our lake, the evening sky was magical, reflecting the sunset on the other side. Wonderful cloud formations and dark threatening clouds above. The weather is changeable here and provides a never ending source of inspiration, such a challenge to paint, one can get lost in those puffy clouds.

Peaceful, poetic, yet dramatic! Reminds me of the northwestern scenes in Washington and Oregon states. I love this!

Very beautiful Diana. We've had sunny skies here too. I love cloud formations.
