1651 Pears & Friends SOLD

6" x 6" oil on panel
It's a long time since I've painted a small still life and it was really refreshing after so many large complex ones. I scratched into the gesso to get this interesting surface to paint on, then I used palette knife  to scrape into the surface paint  to show it up more.

Mornin' Diana, very pretty and interesting texture you gave this one. I hope things are good with you in all ways.

You have definitely added another level of interest with the texture aspect. As always your colors are so clean and fresh with beautiful edges on your subjects. Well done!

Good afternoon Diana!... I love the freshness and vitality that permeate each of these newer works!

They indicate interpretation and offer/invite more for the viewer to become involved with than the more intricately designed and technically perfect pieces.

The two styles side by side offer a special insight into both sides of your artistic interests and skills!

Great work!

Good Painting....and Playing!
Warmest regards,
Bruce
