1563 Mirror Reflections SOLD

11" x 14" oil on panel
A lucky find was this mirrored candle stick that I found in my local charity/thrift shop, I knew that I could invent some interesting compositions with it, being center stage.

1562 Cheese and Wine SOLD

18" x 14" oil on canvas-board

Just finished a commission painting, my first painting in Washington, which took me all week and will get shipped off to Ireland to be framed and then to the client in the UK. So it will be an International piece!
I have started  two more paintings, hopefully to be finished this week.
The weather here is like Ireland changeable and wet!

Moved! Update

Moved house and county on the 4th of March, got settled and unpacked and then flew off on the 14th to Seattle to visit with my daughter and family and check out my new Grandson. I loaded up my suitcase with painting gear and will soon be painting again. Got over my jet lag and am acclimatized now, the weather here has been wet and chilly not much different to Ireland! Will keep you posted on my painting progress......

On the Move

I'm packing like mad and it seems never ending, I started last week and I'm still at it! I have so many paintings that are all different shapes and sizes, some framed some not, some on canvas some on board which makes packing horrible. It makes me wish I only painted one size and shape!

Anyway enough moaning, we are moving away from Dublin out towards the west of Ireland to County Galway on the edge of Lough Derg (lake) I won't have any Internet for awhile until phone and service are connected I just have time to settle in before flying off to the States for several months to see my daughter and my new grandson, which as you can imagine  I am looking forward to immensely.
I am also looking forward to visiting the many galleries and art museums in Seattle, to see some spectacular artwork a real joy.

I will keep on painting while there hopefully, as I need to keep up a steady supply of paintings for my galleries and Auction houses.

I will try and post at regular intervals to keep you up to date of my whereabouts and what I'm up to.
ttfn :)
