1468 Tea-time SOLD

12" x 9" oil on panel Reserved for Dolans Art Auction House

My hubby found this unusual tea pot in our favourite charity shop, parts were silvered and the rest painted with line painting which is raised from the surface. The body is made of red clay which is quite soft so it has a few minor chips which isn't bad for a pot that is at least 50 years old and could be older, I researched the stamp on the base which dates it from 1909 + and was made in Staffordshire in England.

Wow, incredible once again! You captured the silver and the raised paint so well! What kind of paint brushes do you use, if you don't mind me asking. :)
