8" x 10" oil on board
These three locals were resting their feet for a while and enjoying the spring sunshine in front of a monument in O'Connell Street. I hope to paint quite a few more scenes from the city, I'm planning on a photo safari next week.

12" x 16" oil on Masonite
When my dear ol husband was here last week we took the bus to Dublin city center, it was a perfect day weather wise- brilliant sunshine. I was armed with my camera and took loads of pics some to paint from. What attracted me to this scene was the colour of the water and the glimpse of the water on the other side of the bridge. I also waited until the lovely yellow bus was crossing it. This is the Liffey river that runs through Dublin from or to the sea I´m not sure which, probably to.

16" x 20" oil on canvas
This is the first large painting for a while and I find them much harder than small ones, mistakes are larger! I may fiddle with this a bit more in a couple of days we'll see what jumps out at me. I started this painting last year and I wasn't happy with it so I left it and thought last week I would see if I could make something of it.
The ref photo I took last year near Seattle's Science Museum and I have a couple more shots of the same Hydrangea bush of some blooms that have turned pink, I might paint another one similar.

8" x 10" oil on gessoed panel
These two little boys were among a group of children enjoying the beach at Kayak Point in WA . It was a drizzly but warm day and the light rain didn't seem to stop these two explorers, the older boy was probably collecting tiny crabs that were in abundance scutterling between the rocks.

6" x 6" = 15.2 x 15.2 cms. oil on stretched canvas
Another pair of my daughters sneakers a bit fiddly but fun to paint!
I'm a bit stuck as what to paint next, I'd like to paint something totally different but I'm stuck a bit in a rut. I'm hoping that I will get some inspiration or some direction soon. I'd like to join up with some other painters but as yet I don't know many people here, I'm sure that will come with time.
