1321 'Big Stick' SOLD

6" x 6" = 15 x 15 Cms oil on stretched canvas, sides painted black

Well I just had to paint this little dog again, such a cute face, after painting a couple of  'still lifes' I realized that I prefer to paint people and animals, they have more character than  inanimate objects, although some artists have the knack of bringing 'still lifes' to life if that makes any sense!

This one is precious, Diana. Isn't it funny how the little guys often bite off more than they can chew, so to speak?

You did it very well, and a lovely composition too. My little maltese chews wood bits from the fireplace when there is no fire...a nice smoky taste I suppose!

This is so precious, well done. It is fun to paint something with a face and have it looking back at you. Susan Carlin is coming your way soon, right? How exciting, bet you will have a great time meeting her.
