1290 'Buttercup'

9" x 12" oil on Masonite

This sweet filly came to inspect us and see if we had any treats for her when we were photographing the barn behind her. The weather was beautiful, blue skies and warm, pleasant temperatures. The field she was grazing in, was full of bright buttercups hence her name. The barn I have already painted see The Red Barn from a previous post.

Wow... I've always found horses to be so challenging because of all the planes they have on their face and body. Excellent job!
