1294 'Spotty' Sold

6" x 6" oil on canvas, sides painted

A week or so ago my daughter and I went for a drive to find some interesting views to snap, the weather was perfect blue skies and just a few pretty clouds. We happened upon an idyllic scene of a farm framed by trees, mountains and clouds almost too good to be true. In front of the farm was a field of cows just waiting to be photographed. One by one they came over to see what we were about, holding wonderfully still and showing their best poses to us! This one I have named 'Spotty' for obvious reasons, there will be a few more cow paintings in my future maybe a larger one with the farm in the background.

1293 'Life Imitating Art"

9" x 12" oil on stretched canvas

These sculptures we came across in Seattle while visiting the science fiction museum, they were a magnet to children to play on, climb on or just relax on.

1291 'Curly' SOLD

6" x 6" oil on canvas

Curly is such a wooly creature he must have his winter coat on, I love his eye patches and placid stare and remnants of a disturbed meal still in his mouth.

1290 'Buttercup'

9" x 12" oil on Masonite

This sweet filly came to inspect us and see if we had any treats for her when we were photographing the barn behind her. The weather was beautiful, blue skies and warm, pleasant temperatures. The field she was grazing in, was full of bright buttercups hence her name. The barn I have already painted see The Red Barn from a previous post.
