1263 'Taking in the View'

11" x 14" oil on canvas

This young rider, high up in the mountains with a back drop of evergreens, has stopped to admire the view, which I am sure is breathtaking. How wonderful to be both riding and enjoying the country around you.

Love the angle on this. Feels like I'm right up there in the mountains too. Great job!

Very striking composition,Diana. Great work! The subject is well defined against the softness of the hill and background.

Diana, this painting works on so many levels...the composition is really wonderful, the horse and rider are really well executed and overall, well, it just works!

What a good job you did. I like the composition. The grass looks so real and the cowboy, too. You made one feel part of the scene.Silvia
