12" x 12" oil on Masonite
I haven't painted any flowers for a while and my daughter photographed this lovely one in a friends garden and I thought that it would make a great subject to paint.

This is so beautiful, Diana! That bright yellow with the orange shadow under the center is lovely and I love the way you kept the shadow of the leaves vivid and crisp.
