1231 'A Walk on the Beach'

10" x 10" oil on canvas board
This is a painting I have just finished for 'Following the Masters' a monthly painting challenge.
This month the subject is a painting by Spanish artist Joachin Sorrola y Bastida. The original is of course much, much larger than mine, none-the-less it was a beautiful painting to try and copy.

This is a wonderful rendtion of 'A Walk on the Beach' I've had a look at your recent paintings -- amazing output, and all beautifully done.

Really beautiful and serene. You've done such a great job with this! Your colors in the water are particularly appealing. The subtle greens in the veil have an ethereal quality. You did a wonderful job on the figures as well!
